Just wanted to give props to the SDK developers .. took less that 30 minutes from the time i downloaded the SDK to having a development environment setup and i was compiling and runnign the examples.
within 1 hour i had written my own barebones application talking to the IFD440. My first project is to make it so that the G5 instrument on XPlane shows the correct distance to next waypoint when using the IFDXP trainer with Xplane. — i think i’ll have that working in a night or two worth of tinkering. I’m a software developer by trade, and this has to be one of the easiest to use SDK’s that i’ve used. nice job.

What language does it use? Is the SDK available to anyone, or are there hoops to jump through? * Orest
