Does MAP filter affect NEAREST airports

Does anyone know if filtering airports on the MAP page, say by runway length, affect the display of nearest airports on the NEAREST function?

ok, I didn’t get a message of any response, and I couldn’t find my original case when I searched for it, so I thought perhaps it didn’t post.  In any case sorry for any inconvenience
