Ifd 440 airspace wwrninh

It seems it isn't possible to turn off airspace warnings on the 440. Is that the case? Also SVS is not an option on the IFD 100?

My IFD100's are configured to connect to an IFD540 and both of them also have a MAP-SVS tab. I have used the IFD100 SVS tab and it works identical IFD540 SVS tab. I don't believe MAP-SVS tab is available until after the IFD100 is successfully connected to the panel IFD for the first time and a "Config Modified" alert appears on the IFD100. I think Steve's above reference only applies to the SVS button (not the tab); the IFD100 needs to be connected to and IFD545 or IFD550 for the SVS button to appear per the IFD100 QRG reference below:

CONNECTION CONFIRMATION

There are a few visible indications that the user has a connection between the panel mounted IFD and the IFD100. One example is the frequency datablock will go from the red X'd (failed state) to populated with the frequencies currently displayed on the panel mounted IFD550/540/440. If you are connecting to an IFD550 or IFD545, the button for the SVS page will appear. For IFD410 or IFD510 users, a tone will sound (similar to the TOD chime) when you have sucessfully transferred flight plan data.

As dmtidler said, my earlier post referenced the SVS button...

The IFD100 will show an SVS tab in the Map subsystem regardless of the kind of IFD to which it's connected. The IFD100 will only show an SVS button if it's connected to an IFD550 or IFD545.

Verify that you have the F500 option enabled. Assuming it is, the IFD100 will show an SVS tab in the Map subsystem when connected to any kind of IFD - even a 440.

In my experience, it’s normal to see the IFD100 MAP-SVS tab display “No Display Available” even when WiFi connected to a panel IFD until the panel IFD has a good GPS position.
