Anticipating turn heading

   I have trained and flown all of my IFR flight plans on a Garmin GNS 530/430. I recently had an IFD 550 installed in my plane so I have been spending plenty of time on the trainer app to familiarize myself with the software. One thing I noticed is that the IFD will not tell me the desired heading I should turn to in like situations entering a course reversal, turning towards the next leg on flight plan and approach, etc. 
Is this not a part of the IFD software? I see an icon will appear in the bottom right that will say "parallel entry" but would like to see something like "turn right to 340º in 5 seconds". Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
