IFD440 DCT drops out

   IFD 440, enroute with active FPL in the FMS. Going DCT to a FPL waypoint. AP in GPSS mode and engaged.
Entered an arrival into the destination airfield using the panel knobs.

The moment the arrival is entered or a FMS waypoint is added/deleted the DCT is dropped and the aircraft tries to join the FMS track between the DCT to WP and the previous WP in the FMS.

	I just tried to simulate this and was unable. Can you provide specific steps?
