Has anyone experienced where the IFD440 system date reverts back to November 8, 1999?  I cannot seem to find how to change this?  Or, could this be a Cirrus problem?  AviSteve?

Brian:

You need to install the GPS Rollover software patch. It's not a big deal but it has to be signed off by an A&P.

See the Avidyne service bulletin at https://avidyne.com/files/downloads/606-00182-019rev0.pdf .

Ah, the GPS date rollover problem it seems.

What software version are you on?  I'll bet it is before 10.2.3.1 or before 10.2.2.A.

If that is true, the fix is to update your software.  The fix I applied was 10.2.2.A, but then I did 10.2.3.1.

Tech support can guide you.

While I need verify, Iā€™m fairly certain I am at 10.2.3.1. But both of these insights have me headed to my avionics shop. Nothing is easy. šŸ˜ƒ. Thanks again guys

Actually, you and your airplane have fallen into the famous Oshkosh- Fond du Lac time warp. Everyone who comes to Wisconsin in the summer automatically feels 20 years younger!
