Did you ever go this route?

I am also considering adding dual GI-275’s as a GI-275 will drive my Century III autopilot and having dual units would enable me to go all electric with internal backup batteries, fail over redundancy, HSI and GPSS.

While I expect it will all work fine I’d like to see some reports of success. A local shop I spoke with is very interested in doing the work.

I’m have an IFD 540 and 440.   I’d like to replace my AI and DG with 2 GI 275’s.  Anyone have this done with IFD units yet?
