Is it possible to downgrade back to 10.2 while waiting for the multiple issues with 10.3 to be resolved?
The comm freq issue is minor, but not being able to get ADS-B weather via a hardwired/serial link connection that has been working for well over a year with 10.2 is kind of a big deal. The enroute VNAV was the main reason I installed 10.3, but without anything to display the course deviations it doesn't really do much that 10.2 didn't.

Yes, if you updated to 10.3.0.2 in the field you can revert back to 10.2.6.1. It still counts as a minor alteration, and a logbook entry in accordance with 14 CRF Part 43.9 is required. See your dealer, or request software through the link in the Knowledge Base article on pilot support.

Steve, Please clarify that this is only possible with certain Rev levels and below of IFD. Info from tech support is that downgrade to a previous rev level is only possible with certain Rev levels. Don't want folks to get into an issue. Thanks

You are correct that there are some boxes that cannot be reverted. If you upgraded to 10.3, you can most likely revert to 10.2.6. However, just to be sure, you should contact tech support to verify that a specific IFD can be reverted. Be ready to provide the serial number of the IFD.
