IFD100 not connecting to my IFD440 anymore

Dear all,

Since recently, I cannot connect my I-Pad IFD100 to the IFD440 anymore. I am running iPadOS 16.4.1.

I am running Skydemon on the same I-Pad and the WIFI connection is working. In the Utility menu, The I-Pad IP address is visible and connection is on "always" (If not, skydemon connection would not work).

The databases on both side are at the same version.

This failure is very annoying...

Any idea for trouble shooting?

It seems that I am not the only one experiencing this problem. Luckily, I can use Skydemon to upload my flight plans... 

I feel a bit disappointed by the lack of support.

Hello Dominique,

I can confirm that IFD100 and Skydemon are not compatible.

If Skydemon is running on the iPad and you start the IFD100 app, it cannot connect to the IFD device.
Conversely, if IFD100 is running and you start Skydemon, it cannot connect to the IFD and you get at least one error message.

Foreflight and IFD100 at the same time have no problems.

Skydemon is a very popular and widely used app here in Europe, at least VFR it should be the market leader.
