Say five seconds before passing the FAF, have an aural annunciation & CAS alert of "FAF AHEAD" or something like that.

Can we get an option for the 540 to listen to the active comm channel, figure out what reporting point ATC asked for (like FAF, 3 miles out, mid-field downwind, etc.) and then remind us 5 seconds before we get there? Simple matter of advanced voice-to-text and contextual syntax parsing.
Now THAT would be a cool feature. Maybe in release 10.1, not 1.10... But, for now, +1 on the FAF reminder. |

Do What I Mean.
I think it was coined 30-40 years ago to describe a system that does what you intend instead of blindly following the exact programming command. Slightly easier said then done....
