Allowing for various sort orders has been requested. I think it sorts the flight plans now by origin/destination, regardless of what you name it.

I am planning a big trip for Thanksgiving. It is a three-leg flight. I'll probably go VFR, but I am planning the whole thing as if I would have to go IFR (with legal alternate airports/approaches, and the whole shmear). I am using the PC simulator to create the flight plans (routes) and I will "Restore" them to the IFD before the trip. Is there any way to set the order that the routes appear in the Routes tab screen? I tried renaming the routes, but that does not seem to change the order. I would like to have the three legs of my trip listed as the first, second, and third routes, but I don't want to delete the other routes I have already saved. I have not found a way to drag the routes into the desired order, and I can't tell how the IFD decides to put them in the order they appear. Educate me? David Bunin |
