I have the IFD440 displaying traffic from a Garmin 345W. I also have a panel mounted Garmin Aera 660 portable and wish to display ADSB traffic on its dedicated traffic screen. The IFD440 screen can get very cluttered at times, especially in high density areas.
Any one have it set up to get traffic on both devices or must I disable traffic on the IFD 440 and wire the Aera 660 to the GTX345? And if I have to disable the IFD440 traffic, must I do that on the maint page or disable connector pins? |

The 660 can also display ADS-B in traffic and weather information via Bluetooth from Garmin’s GDL 39 series, Flight Stream and GTX 345 transponder. T

Thanks Ibraham.
Thats what I finally did and I got it to work. I tried to get to the Maint mode but no luck. Wish the install manual was available. |

You can request the install manual form Avidyne, they will send it to you.
To enter the maintenance mode, insert a USB flash drive prior to turning the unit on and it will start in that mode.

Aux -> Sys Tab -> Download Logs LSK on the bottom left -> Confirm will cause the IFD to restart in maintenance mode. No USB key needed.
