I recently had dual GI 275’s installed and they work very well with my IFD 540 and Century III.
However, the CDI selection knob is disabled. So when the IFD auto switches from GPS to ILS upon capture I have to manually switch the 275. The same issue occurs in reverse when going missed approach. I’m told the switch may be enabled if I upgrade to the latest 275 software. Does anyone know if that’s correct? Huge thanks to Avidyne for getting this approved; I love the combination. Ps. Any chance I can get a copy of the updated STC that includes the 275? Plus any specific Avidyne requirements for this combination? Thanks again, Avidyne. 9+ years and still loving the 540/340 combination. Jim
