I've got a Baron 58 and just bought an IFD540 for it. The IFD-100 app made the decision easy. I also have a pair of G5s and am considering upgrading my auto-pilot. Is there any plan to add output of en-route VNAV to the ARINC outputs for consumption by a PFD and/or a VNAV capable auto-pilot? |

Sean, should that mean that using ARINC, GFC500 could be driven by the IFD series?

David: GFC600 in my case, since the 500 is only for singles. But, yes, that's precisely what I was asking. I want the VNAV from the IFD to drive the purple vertical chevron on my G5s and ultimately a GFC autopilot. |

I guess I should have read your post more carefully, apologies, but thanks for the info.
The GFC series looks like a great autopilot solution. Still bummed because I got on the Avidyne train for the DFC 90 and was promised servos, but that never materialized. Thanks.
