Well, got the spiffy hard copy manual for the IFD540 today. It is loose leaf with three ring clips.
Given its format, I'm just wondering if you will be updating it periodically, when there are changes? I can understand if you didn't, but the format does suggest you might. *Orest Edited by oskrypuch - 23 Dec 2014 at 11:38am |

Got mine yesterday. I assumed the three rings was so they could send product updates. We'll see...
I suppose we could download, print, and insert our own pages if necessary.

Yes, that would be easy to do, except for the tabbed pages.

Yes, I built it very specifically to easily accept change pages.
The update coming with Release 10.1 is a substantial update to the pilot guide. The mechanism for seeing changes is two-fold: 1. The inside front cover shows the rev level of each page. 2. Every change will have a change bar in the margins next to the change. |

I tried to register on myavidyne.com a few times but all I get is an error message saying to contact tech support. I called the number again yesterday, stayed on hold a while, left a message. Waiting for someone to call me back but I realize this is Christmas. There is no hurry to get tis resolved. I have a soft copy on my iPad. Did you guys have any trouble registering? |

Ah very good. Nice. Yes these are softcopy kind of days, and you can't beat the portability, but I still like holding a printed copy to read if it is available. * Orest Edited by oskrypuch - 23 Dec 2014 at 12:46pm |

I also tried to register my IDF540 / AXP340 online but received the same error message stating to contact TECH support. Called Tech support several weeks ago, they said they would investigate, never
received a reply. I cannot remember if I had to create a myavidyne login userID /password for the PC simulator, causing the current login issue?

Its amazing how responsive employees are to a VP. They called, we talked on the phone. They tried to create the page for me while I was on the phone and got the same error. They are stumped too and will have to elevate it to the web guys. Thanks Steve.
