I'm learning my new equipment. Yesterday, I sent my Foreflight flight plan to the panel. After a while, I changed to go try things at a different airport. I entered a new flight plan into my 540 and sent it to my iPad running FF. Then just to see how it would work, I sent what was on my iPad back to the panel. And it went back to the original flight plan. So then I went into Foreflight and deleted my original flight plan both on the map page and on the flights page. Tried it again and still the old flight plan popped up on the 540. I had to delete my original flight plan from the 540 in order for the new flight to be the displayed flight plan. What an I doing wrong?

When you send a FP from Foreflight, it does not replace the active plan, it appears in Routes. Rolfe

Speaking of which, I have a feature suggestion. When a flight plan is uploaded from Foreflight, there's a pop up message that says something like "Route Ready" (or some such). It would be nice if we could click on it and get taken directly to the new route (or have the route selected when one switches to the appropriate page). Unless I am missing something, I have found it to be a bit of a pain to find the newly uploaded route. Or, tag it is some fashion to show it's new. If the new route has the same origin destination pair as other routes in my list, I find that I have to click into each one to find the correct one.

Next release will contain a big change to the way that stored routes are handled. One of the new features is a means to sort the list in different ways, including by age. That should alleviate the problem of finding a route that has just been uploaded.

That's awesome, Steve!
You know I have to ask - when (approx) do you think this next release will be available? Thanks, Vas

I agree, it is a pain sometimes to find the correct new route when the default names are the same. Renaming the route is one solution, but the names are limited to approx 12 characters. Tagging duplicate route names by sequential number might be a solution, or showing recently loaded routes at the top of the alphabetical list
