It's now getting late into 2019.

I am at the stage of installing a complete radio suite of everything avionics wise on this 56TC Baron which is on the 3A16 Type Certificate Data Sheet just like every other Baron. It is just another Baron on TCDS 3A16 so there shouldn't be a clerical error leaving it off an AML.

And still no option in 2019 to install Avidyne equipment and Avidyne Avionics in order to have an autopilot.

Ready to purchase and install. I am the owner and long term IA experienced in major repairs and alteration 337's and this Baron has been on experimental certificate before.

Why so slow?

Why not get a DER to approve the type data as a major alternation for your specific aircraft on an 8110?  Then you can reference the approved FAA data on your 337.

Sorry can you say that a different way? I've been doing strange 337 field approvals often over the years (32 years, and it is getting harder of course) and I should follow, but I'm not.

When you fill out the 337 as an IA, you are documenting a change made to the aircraft utilizing FAA  approved data.  So for your specific airplane, you need to get the data FAA approved, since your not on the AML.  It possible for a DER to approve that data.

an8pilot,
Things take time. I could argue do your own DER approval, if you have the money, but bet that would be hard to impossible. Or just buy from another vendor. Who else makes an AP for the 56TC?
I was the test bed for the Baron with Avidyne back in 2012 and you can see how long it takes....
