I have just installed a stratus 3 in my airplane. I have an IFD540 running 10.3.1.2, and foreflight running the latest revision. In general everything is working for traffic and weather on the IFD. I have downloaded the Appareo stratus horizon app and verified the stratus is in open ADSB mode.
The one problem I have is with flight plan transfers from FF to the IFD540. Transfers from the IFD to FF work fine. Transfers the other way result in the above error message. I even tried transferring a flight plan from the IFD to FF, this worked fine, then sending the same flight plan back to the IFD. This resulted in the "route not loaded" error. I searched the forums and although this error is mentioned, no fix for it was posted. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What’s the specific route and the “name” in ForeFlight? There are some names with characters in them, that won’t transfer.

I tested this out once back at the hangar and it does not seem to fix the problem. Still has the same issue. Uploads from panel work fine, downloads from ipad do not. Guess Ill wait for the next software release

You still haven’t provided the name of the route you are trying to transfer. It’s possible that the name doesn’t work because it contains unsupported characters.
Naming routes in ForeFlight is unusual. You select the star button, and then type the name prior to saving it as a favorite route. If you haven’t done this, the route defaults to the name of both endpoints, and if you have multiple route between the same endpoint, well, it isn’t clear what happens; multiple transfers of the same name appear under the route tab, but distinguishing between them is challenging. I tested this with a very simple route. KLVK KSAC. If I create this in the IFD I can transfer it to foreflight. If I then attempt to transfer it back, it gives me the error. If I create it initially in FF, same error. Because I often create different routes between local airports I fly to around KLVK I do have multiple instances of routes with the same name, based on airport endpoints. I agree this is confusing but the IFD is happy to do this, or at least was before I made the software change. I don't think I have ever named routes, just use the airport endpoints identifiers.
