Hi all,
I was given a route from Chicago KIGQ to KPOV (southeast of Cleveland) last week. The end of the route was an arrival procedure through Cleveland's Bravo KLCE. the arrival procedure is BRWNZ4. I couldn't figure out how to enter this into my IFD540 flight plan. The only way I've come up with is to send it from foreflight. Anyone know how to pull up a procedure from a different airport and load into a flight plan?

FYI-Tech support provided an option.
The best way to enter this would be KIGQ - BENJO - KCLE (Select your BRWNZ4 arrival and transitions) - KPOV What runway transition was given in your clearance? If none was given, then it may not be required. However, you would still need to select a runway to load the flight plan in the IFD I imagine you would select the BENJO transition to begin with since you were cleared BENJO. Were you told to expect vectors? In any case, in a situation such as this, it helps greatly to expand the MAP with the FPL tab when loading the flight plan to get a visual depiction and to help you make sense of the clearance. You can also change the view to “Cursor” to move the MAP with your inputs. |
