Error detected “CopyTempKvfs”

   I got this error today updating my IFD540.  I thought it was a corrupt USB stick (one of my original Avidyne labeled sticks) but after formatting/loading up 3 more sticks with JDM I get the same error.  It appears this is actually referring to the filesystem on the IFD.  The IFD will not boot without a USB stick inserted (boot loop at Avidyne splash screen).  

I have a ticket open with Avidyne and (fortunately) I have warranty support, but I’m really hoping to get this bird up in the air as I had several missions planned this week and next.  As this IFD controls / feeds my NGT9000R I can’t fly without.

Any ideas?  I’m based at KPTK in Michigan.
