IFD540 - Extremely weak wifi

   Thought the Wifi on the 540 with latest software release was inop. Then, discovered that, if I put the iPad I got up against the faceplate of the IFD, was able to connect and communicate.  Signal showed one bar... barely a signal at all.
Move the iPad a foot away, likely disconnects.

Tested with two iPads, same result.  Both iPads readily connect to 440 (in another plane), showing full signal.

Is there an external wifi antenna ?  Or, options?

	If it was working well before the software upgrade and the settings didn’t change, I think Avidyne Tech Support will be your best bet to resolve the issue.
