Sharing traffic+weather between IFDs

   According to the pilot’s guide, it’s possible to share data such as traffic and weather between connected IFDs. However, it notes the following:
Dissimilar Weather & Traffic Data Not Shared
Dissimilar weather data sources (e.g. GDL-69 data on one IFD and SkyTrax100 data on the other IFD) will not be shared between IFDs. Each IFD will display its own weather data in this case

So, in the case where one IFD is connected to ADS-B traffic, and I want that data shared to the other IFD, would the correct way to do this be to NOT have a traffic or weather source configured on the second IFD?

I’m assuming this is like Wireless support, where only one of two connected IFDs should be enabled on WiFi, with that device sharing information over the ByteFlite bus that connects them.
