Steve,

Does the IFD540 have a Point of No Return (PNR) calculator?

Hi Victor,

No it does not.  I hadn't ever really heard of those for GA until a country-mate of yours explained that, and others like it, to me.

I entered that and the other similar calculators into the future feature candidate database a month or two ago when Lawrence explained them to me.

Good Morning Jake,

When you are adding new features, are there plans to add a bit of memory to the box so it can store two databases? One would hold the current data and the other the new. In a perfect world, it would change from one to the other right at the time it was legal to do so with a provision that no change would be to any procedure while it was being conducted.

Back when I was gainfully employed, that is what we had, but we did have to chose the one to be used when we turned on the magic. Sure would be nice to do the download of the new data before the date in question and then just switch over at the appropriate time.

Happy Skies,

Old Bob

Thank you Steve.

+2 for Old Bob's suggestion.

The IFD is so amazing as it is. I can hardly wait to see how awesome it will be after all of the future capabilities are added.
