How to set an event timer

   I am trying to set an event timer in my IDF540 for the next annual inspection, without success. Perhaps someone here can help. The IFD has 10.2.3.1.
In the UTIL tab, Timers LSK, I have named a custom timer Annual and selected the Event timer. The problem is that I am unable to set the date. The value defaults to the current date and I have so far found no way to change it. Every time I start to enter something, it always over-rides my typing with the current date. I've tried it in the Trainer and it works fine.

Any suggestions?
