A released copy of the IFD540 Installation Manual has just been posted at:
It still has a "Not FAA Approved" watermark on it and that will be the case until we have TSO/STC. But, this is what we consider the "final" version. Our pre-TSO pilot program folks will be using this revision. That program begins on Monday, 3 Feb. Feedback is desired.

I don't see the Aspen Pro PFD mentioned as a compatible HSI/EFIS/EHSI.
Surely that's an omission?

Sort of.
I was not rigorous enough in writing the list on page 23. I lazily put the Aspen PFD and Avidyne PFDs in the Displays section on that page instead of the EFIS section above it. I'll change that in the next rev. You can also find a reference for it on page 66 where it shows which ARINC429 protocol to use for the Aspen PFD.

Rev 00-C of the IFD540 Install Manual was just posted. It rolls in review feedback and some improvements already gathered from the pre-TSO Pilot Program.
