Hi Simpson,
I'm looking for the IFD540/440 certification documents (STC SA000343BO, AML, ICA) under the Avidyne web site downloads section and can't find them. The AFM supp is there under Pilot Guides (not Certification Documents). The only Certification Documents under Downloads by Type are for the AXP340 (STC, AML, ICA, AFM supp). Am I missing something? If not, would it be possible to have them posted asap? How could I obtain them in the meantime since I need them tomorrow? Vince

You should be able to locate these documents at the FAA.gov website looking for the Avidyne STC

Thanks Gary. I should have thought of that, at least for the STC & AML docs. The search tool tends to be not particularly user-friendly and I've wasted a lot of time looking here for an STC in the past, but in this case I got the right hit immediately.
Current version of the AML is rev 01 which includes both IFD540 & IFD440, and the STC itself was amended on June 18, 2015 to include the IFD440 so it pays to go here to get the current version. |

STC SA00343BO makes reference to the ICA doc AVIFD-315 which is supposed to be available at installation time and is an Avidyne document, not FAA.
It would be useful to have this posted to the Avidyne downloads section, similar to AVAXP-007 which is posted for the AXP340. |
