I am in the process of integrating a couple upgrades to our plane.  We currently have GNS-430's, a legacy F-Max 650 (which is fine for our needs), and a Sandia SAC7-35 Air Data Computer installed.  The ADC has air data output available on a 429 transmitter at high speed (100kbits/sec) only - no low speed option.

I have a need for ARINC 429 low speed (12.5 kbit/sec) air data labels as an input to an airspeed indicator.  The F-max 650 installation manual does not detail the ARINC 429 transmitter functionality at all.

Is is possible to input the airdata labels on one of the A429 receive channels on the F-max at high-speed, and forward that data on the same channel at A429 low speed?  My hope is that this would function as sort of a poor man's 429 converter.

I know there are a couple of converters out there, but they are super pricey.

Thank you,
Cobb
