In retrospect, it may have been too much to try to get the FAA to approve all of this in one submittal? Perhaps it might have been better to do it in chunks.
My suspicion is that the delays have been far more frustrating for Avidyne than for us!

Did you notice the 2016 year on that date, post was tongue-in-cheek. That was just a copy of the original announcement and the date the feature set was made public. There is no announced release date for 10.2, as far as I know, other than very, very soon. * Orest |

While waiting for 10.2, I just completed another really nice trip using the existing software on my 540 and 440 its a real treat to use the IFD's compared to the competitor. Having the map and flight plan displayed simultaneously on the display, the FREQ page and a whole lot more. Now if Avidyne would get rid of headwinds and turbulence, that would be just great!
