The 430W has "ADS-B OUT" or "ADS-B OUT +" for choices to send to the AXP340.

With the 340 set to "Garmin ADSB":

If the 430 is "ADS-B OUT", the 340 sees location info.

If the 430 is "ADS-B OUT +", the 340 does not see location info.

It's my understanding that "ADS-B OUT +" is required from the 430W for certified ADS-B out.

Software versions are the latest on both.

Anybody been thru this?

My AXP340 is version 3.8, is that higher or lower than 3.12 ?

I think I heard that the version has to be 3.12 or higher to hear Garmin ADSB OUT +

3.12 should be higher than 3.8

Thanks, I've since figured that out and it's the reason for my problem. Need a software upgrade. Has anybody gotten one for an older unit?
