What is the significance of the GPS antenna height setting in the IFD settings? Curious what issues might be seen if it is set incorrectly. Thanks, -Scott |

The GPS altitude is adjusted by that amount. While still important, in small aircraft it's not all that significant since you're probably looking at around 5 or 6 feet. For a 747, it's much more significant at probably 40 or 50 feet. ------------- Steve Lindsley Avidyne Engineering |

Given that the weight of pilots keeps going up, I'll bet there are a lot of widebodies flying with IFDs :)
