Finally decided to give Keyboard a try. Is there a manual anywhere as there's no documentation in the box?
1) when I put it on charger, red light comes on bright for about a minute and then goes completely off
is this normal?
2) I left it on charger for a few hours and then went to pair it. Was able to pair it but the green light went off after about 5 minutes of use even though the switch was in the on position..Is that normal?
3) do you have to turn it off or will it drain battery further if left on in between flights?

Check the forum topic

MK10 Bluetooth Keyboard

and specifically the post on Jan 18 2016 with info answering your question.

Re 3), mine is mounted on the yoke and normally stays in the aircraft unless I take it home to charge which I often do before a trip. Usually I turn it off when leaving the aircraft, but have also forgotten and it has always still worked when I returned. I suspect the lifetime of a charge depends mostly on how much typing is done .... i.e. BT traffic/clicks. I don't think there is much drain if there is no BT connection, such as IFD powered down.

Thanks for the reply..I used it for a flight today and it worked well. I believe that it was fully charged already even though it has sat for 4 months. The green light does not stay lit, only pops on when using it.
