Does anyone actually wire this up to the audio panel and use it?

It says it’ll alert when more than 200 ft off of the selected (pressure) altitude.  Maybe I’m missing the utility of this function, but 200 seems like a huge deviation, in the IFR world at least.

I used it when I had a G* 330ES in the panel.

Once I installed an ASPEN PFD, I never used the 330ES warning again. In any case, the 330ES is long gone.

If you don't have any other altitude warning, I see no reason not to wire it, and use it. Could save your "deviation" bacon some time.

I have it wired to my audio panel and will occasionally set it.

Thanks to this post, I finally tried it this past weekend-- worked well, although in IFR cruise on autopilot I didn't need it.

Does the AXP322 have the same option? Thanks in advance
