There doesn't seem to be a PG specific to 10.2.4.1?  Perhaps I missed it.

I'd like more info on:
1.  Turning off WiFi ADSB
2.  Maintenance password

Is there material out there on those topics?

Thanks!

There is no pilot guide update specifically for 10.2.4.1.

WiFi ADS-B
Assuming you are referring to the item on the Setup Page with the title "ADS-B Forwarding".  That item is available when the IFD is configured with an ADS-B in device.  When the selection is "On", the IFD will send ADS-B In data over WiFi for use by applications such as Foreflight.

Maintenance Mode Password Protection PIN
Maintenance mode now has the capability to protect settings by requiring a personal identification number (PIN) to be entered before any settings changes will be accepted.  When no PIN has been defined, settings can be changed without protection of a PIN.

To define a PIN, navigation to the Password Protection PIN page, then press the right knob button.  Use the inner and outer knobs to change characters and move the cursor, respectively.  Once the desired PIN has been entered, press the right knob to set it.  Once the PIN has been set, entry of that PIN will be required to save changes to settings.

Note that the IFD will allow settings to be viewed and changed even without entering the current PIN.  However, any changes will not be saved unless the PIN has been entered.  If the PIN has not been entered, the text "Password - Protected" will be shown in yellow under the page title on any of the pages where settings can normally be changed.

Steve, I had a problem with the network settings did not save even-though I think changes to the network settings does not require a PIN.  I had to get the PIN eradication DSF to reset.  It's fixed now.

Maybe a glitch in the software.

Cheers, Steve
