Same problem on my two iPads. My routes are not saved. I enter a new route, return to the route list, the route is visible, I can edit and activate. When I reopen the application, the route list is empty.

I could not find the app version number.

If you use a single iPad running the IFD100 and not connected to an IFD, leaving the other iPad off, are your stored routes saved?

HI Steve,
They are not connected to the IFD440. When connected, everything thing is working as intended, databases are synchronized, but I cannot upload my flight plans are they at lost as soon as the iPads go into the sleep mode.

The second iPad is not Off, but sleeping. Does it makes any difference?

No, just trying to isolate to a single IFD100 to aid in troubleshooting.  So if you have a single iPad running IFD100, enter a stored route, then go "back to route list", do you see the route you just entered in the list?  Assuming you do, then,if you shut down the iPad, turn it back on, and then open the IFD100 app, the stored route is no longer there?

If that's not correct, let me know the exact steps you're taking to reproduce the behavior.  Include whether a step is being performed on the IFD or one of the iPads running IFD100.

exactly as you described, one iPad, route created and visible in the route list, shut down the iPad, turn it back on and the route is gone.

My iPads are quite old... Could this be an explanation? (iOS 9.3.5)

I suppose it could be the age of the iPad, but I wouldn't give up on it quite yet.  I know it's cliche, but can you uninstall the IFD100?  If you have the IFD Trainer app installed on that iPad, be sure to uninstall that too.  Then, re-install the IFD100 from the Apple store. Let me know if that clears up the problem.

thank you Steve.

I am flying back home today. I will uninstall the apps when I am at home because I need my Jeppesen credentials to reinstall them.

so, I have unistalled both app and did a fesh install of IFD100.

Unfortunately, same behaviour, the new route is not saved... Very strange, in the past, it was working perfectly well.

Any chance you can take a short video showing the behavior?  You can post it or send it to me directly slindsley at avidyne dot com.
