We're close to releasing an update to the XPlane trainer that addresses some of the more common issues that users have been reporting.

 

Specifically...

 

- the update will use a different mechanism to find an xplane instance.  That should help those of you that just can't seem to connect no matter what you do.  The likely culprit is that your network blocks multicast.  The updated app will use a feature in XPlane that is designed to support EFBs (like Foreflight).

 

- the current version will hang when the iPad goes to sleep and you have to completely quit the app to unhang it.  That's fixed.

 

Give it a week or so, but just thought I'd publish a heads up…
