Howdy! New IFD440 user here 10.2.6.1. The unit replaced a GNS430W. It configured the 430W settings fine...seems to navigate fine, GPS loads OK, etc etc. No issues with the install (so far) BUT there's no option in AUX --> USER OPTIONS --> SETUP for bluetooth or wifi networking. "Keyboard Convenience" is greyed out. In the Maintenance Mode Configuration menu, I only have 12 pages, and nothing regarding turning bluetooth or wifi networking on. The unit came with the bluetooth keyboard, so I presume that it's supposed to have bluetooth, but I'm not able to find either it, or any wifi options. Any ideas? (tried to start a support ticket at MyAvidyne.com but somehow it won't allow my username)

You need Avidyne to send you a .dsf file to enable the two options. Contact the place where you purchased the unit from and they will handle it. Gene ------------- Gene |

Yeah, I see that now. It was actually getting that .dsf file that was the part that I didn't understand. All fixed now. |
