Folks,

In my HDX Skyview and SV-XPNDR-261 panel, I just replaced my GNS-430W with a new IFD440.

The plane is outside the hanagar and locked on to a waypoint. ARINC data is showing up on HSI.

In the XPNDR-261 SETUP page, I did set it to GPS DATA "AVIDYNE IFD540/IFD44" GPS DATA OFFLINE

The real question - what is the correct RS232 Config Setting? Previously the GNS-430W was set to "ADSB OUT +"

I called AVIDYNE and he was not sure. they are several options.

UPDATE - I spoke to a Dynon Tech Rep and the correct IFD440 replacement for "ADSB OUT +" is now "ADS-B (Avi)"

Some one on the Dyon forum mentioned that the IFD550 still has "ADSB OUT+"

I tested and now the Transponder works fine/legal.
