Will an Aspen PFD send OAT to the IFD's? I am currently configured to receive other Air Data (Airspeed, Winds & Barometric Pressure) from my Aspen Pro Max PFD.

Yes, the OAT from the Aspen can definitely be sent to the IFD. It is probably already included in the air data stream from the Aspen, but I am not sure of any set up details necessary to have the IFD use the OAT data.

OAT information out of the Aspen comes out on the RS232 output port and not on the Arinc 429 port.

Thank you guys. That's good to know. I am currently only configured with 429 Output. Just curious, what additional functions will I get with OAT inputted to the IFD's?
