Any way to see if this is an error in the box from the logs??? I was flying IMC this past Friday to L18 GPS 18. Avidyne flt plan pdz nikkl udhay L18. leaving nikkl cleared udhay 4000 straight in. IFD shows udhay next active waypoint. I deleted the hold from the approach. Activated APR mode on AP. . Crossing udhay the AP turned left like it was going to fly the reversal. Did not let it continue. AP (GFC 500) off vectored back to udhay and flew the approach. WTH.

Let me make sure I understand, you were doing the NIKKL ONE Departure out of KONT?

Not sure where you got departure from. Flying the GPS 18 approach into L18. Leaving V186 at NIKKL going to UDHAY.

Tried the same on the iPad simulator 10.3, origin KRAL then NIKKL GPS18 into L18. I deleted the crs reversal at UDHAY and it was deleted from the map, then it did the straight in into L18.
I had a similar problem going into KVRB once. I thought I deleted the hold but the AP still tried to turn into the hold, ended up disconnecting the AP and flying manually.  Sometimes the IFD does not let you delete the hold for some reason, another option is to activate the the leg to ADUNE or the IFLEV then the autopilot will treat it like VTF

Since then, I always check on the map the alternating white-magenta line that shows the next leg, which is a great feature from Avidyne to see what the AP is going to do next.
