Hello,

I’ve recently tried updating charts on my ifd540 on 3 separate occasions without success. I’ve tried to format the usb, and have tried loading from 2 different devices including my Bad Elf Wombat and my Mac.

The update starts and shortly after it starts just returns a generic ERROR for the status. Nav and obstacles update flawlessly.

Not sure what could be the cause or if there is a way to get logs that might indicate why my update is failing. I tried to login and check if my cmax code is the same based on my serial number which shouldn’t have changed but the system is down.

I believe my issue with chart updates started around a time I had to remove a password the I never set but prevented me from changing my dimmer settings.

Do you get any error messages or does the update appear to complete with no errors? You can send me your event log if you like. slindsley at avidyne dot com
