Ver 10.3.2 IFD 440 working normally till last week. Perhaps not related, but did nav data update between last normal operation and beginning of glitch. Now when you use Large knob of multifunction knob you can only move item 2 spaces eg in map mode if range is 15 and you move knob counter clockwise range will go to 20 as expected then when you move it counterclockwise again it goes back to 15. If you are in FMS info and you try to change waypoint ID from say HUO to KORH you turn inner knob to K and then larger knob clockwise and you can put in the O but when you then turn large knob clockwise cursor goes back to the first space K. Has anyone seen this before and is there a fix. Powering unit down and back on has no effect.We've done 3 flights with this condition. Small inner knob functions normally, and you can work around on IDs by using touchscreen and keyboard, but this is time consuming and could turn into serious issue in turbulence.

I have occasionally seen erratic behavior similar to what you describe in the multi-function knob of our IFD540. It does not seem to be consistent enough to describe accurately.

Bob thanks for the reply. Reloaded the navdata update but no joy. Next step will be re uploading 10.3.2.
