Maybe a dumb question

What is the difference on the map setup page

IFR---VFR---Custom---Factory

I tried setting it to each one and couldn't see a difference on the map

Maybe I am missing something

Of course i did this while on the ground

My be different once in the air

For IFR, VFR, Factory, you should see changes on the map setup page. You'll see features turning on/off at different ranges or on/off altogether based on your setting. It also changes the definitions of the declutter triangles.

Those changes of course get reflected on the map but sometimes, until/unless you change map range or declutter settings, they will be subtle.

AHHH roger that ... thank you sir ... yes it is subtle and may have noticed more if i would have been flying.. now ill know what to look for
