While creating an IFR practice flight using the simulator, I inadvertently selected a SID from 1G5. Not wanting this to be part of the route, I tried to delete it. I could not delete any elements of the SID nor the SID itself. I had to delete the entire flight plan and reenter it. Is this intentional?

If you selected this SID from the FPL page on the departure airport, you would just highlight that field again and hit the CLR button. This would be the same process to delete an approach which you would want to eliminate
