Any plans on making the DFC90 available for the Piper Malibu (PA-46-310P)?

Currently, the PA46-310 is not in the plans. We do have the STC for the PA46-350T/P

It is my best understanding that the Mirage/Matrix STC is limited to aircraft equipped with Avidyne PFDs. This limits applicability to 2006-2009. This is quite understandable given the timing of the approval for that initial STC.
Time has marched on, and the Aspen PFD is now a valid AHRS source for the DFC90. It would appear that approval for the Mirage/Matrix with an Aspen PFD would be largely a paperwork exercise. The limited additional effort would allow the addition of the production years from 2000 through 2005, which would ~3x the applicable aircraft [due the the number of additional years as well as production numbers during those years]. Has this opportunity been evaluated by Avidyne?

Yes, we have looked at amending the STC to add Aspen PFD to the PA46 DFC STC. It's on our to-do list but hasn't bubbled up to an active project yet.

OK, I'll bite. What would it take (as in how many committed aircraft) to make this start bubbling? It is just paperwork after all. :)

Avidyners,
The new web site also omits PA-46 with Avidyne Entegra from the DFC-90 web page. This is particularly shameful since you are warming up to add Aspen equipped PA-46s to the STC, right? ;)
