I think, the scrollable datablocks should snap back (like the panned map) to the top after scrolling inactivity, and on the FMS page, the scrolling waypoints back to the active on top.

+1, agree completely with the 540. However, with the reduced real estate of a 440, you might not want that behavior. Maybe make it a user setting.

I wouldn't mind if the snap-back was a user setting, but I have mine set up so that the things I need/want during takeoff and landing are at the top of the list, and the things that I need/want in cruise are at the bottom of the list. So when I scroll to the bottom in cruise, I want it to stay there in cruise. |

You'll need to upload the photo to a photo sharing service, make sure it's publicly viewable, and then link to it there.
There are lots of such places out there; you may even use one already to back up your photos. If you don't already have something, www.imgur.com is designed specifically to share photos on the 'Net. You have to create an account (which makes sense...don't want everyone being able to edit everyone's photos), but it's free and very easy to use.

Actually you can, but not from the quick reply editor. When penning your reply, select FULL REPLY editor (the arrow on top of two squares icon), and select the icon that looks like a tree, six from the left on the top row. * Orest Edited by oskrypuch - 05 Aug 2015 at 3:41pm |

Orest,
The "Insert Image" interface allows the insertion of an image from a public uploads folder or with a URL. Since I have found no way to upload photos to the Avidyne site, Cobra's advice above about a picture hosting site is very relevant. Do you know how to upload a photo directly from your computer to a forum post without using a picture-hosting site? If so, please explain -- and post pictures if necessary! ;) |

Right, even the full reply window only appear to allow me to post one of Avidyne's ten or so images. I can't post anything from my hard drive.

I can't figure this one out. I can post any picture I want from any PC or laptop I am using via the method Orest notes. Works from each PC I've used that have different OS's on them and Mac. I don't need to use any kind of special picture posting service or URL at all.
I will have to spend some time with the forum admin dude to see if we can replicate this report and resolve it.

You don't use a URL at all? Using the tree icon, the only option I understand for selecting a photo is to provide the URL to an existing online photo. Not all URLs work using that option, I think it was google drive that I was trying to use that it wasn't liking. I can't find any way to browse and select a picture directly from my PC. I had windows 7 and 8 on different laptops, not have windows 10, all worked the same way. Since it's hard for us to post pictures, could somebody who has success uploading pictures from their PC take a screenshot of the menu that pops up when you hit the tree icon and post it to see if it's the same as what the rest of us are seeing?
