The screen setups are not remembered in the simulator (sim bug? you were going to check), so I can't fully test that feature.
But, am I correct to think that any settings made while the Preset is set to CUSTOM, will be remembered after a power cycle? If not, you really should enable this. That said, why not allow for multiple CUSTOM setting groups. I could see that used if there is more than one pilot, or if you wish to select a different screen setup for different phases of flight. You could even allow screen setups to sequence automatically with phase of flight triggers! Food for thought, maybe it tickles your fancy. But FIRST I want my BOEING BANANA back! * Orest |

I support this helpful feature - i wished this for my Garmin formerly - except the trigger. Klaus |

I wondered when the Boeing Banana request would come back...... (and it IS in our candidate for future release database).
I forgot to check on the sim retention issue - will hit that Thurs. But, as soon as you change any one of the datablock or system setup settings, even if the system had been on "Factory", it auto toggles to "Custom" and it will save those settings across power cycles. As for multiple user version of Custom (e.g. "Dave's Format", "Pete's Format", "Beyonce's Format", etc), we have that feature in the future release candidate pile and not part of the initial release. Same is true with the phase-of-flight custom settings.
