Has anybody had the problem with their IFD540 providing the message "No Data from Output #1."

No but if you go into Maintenance Mode and look at the first page on the CONFIG tab (should be your ARINC429 port settings) you should see what device the IFD is configured to communicate with over ARINC port #1 which will give you a clue what device is not sending the data.

Thanks for responding. I failed to put in the message that it says "No 429 input from #1." I spoke with Christine down in Florida and it is my PFD. Coincidentally, the era began when they downloaded 10.1.2. I just wanted to see if anybody else was having a problem as it has not been resolved.

You might look on the Avidyne website under leadership team, Start with the Sr. VP Product MGT... Also lots of posts from Steve about test flying through out AvidyneLive on nearly all the General topics. There are tons of useful information about your IFD 541! Jack |
