I just looked at my ForeFlight account history - it shows ForeFlight only, no ForeFlight/Jeppesen bundle. Likewise, my Jeppesen history shows no additional seat packages. Since my first purchase of the Avidyne 540 when it was introduced, I purchased Jeppesen Avidyne bundle that included ForeFlight charts on 3 seats. Cost was just under $1100 for East if the Mississippi. Due to a reduction in flying (around Covid time?), I dropped the approach plate option (-$500 as I recall).

When I noticed some lower/different prices/coverages being discussed on this thread, I talked to Jeppesen and found that I could obtain entire U.S. approach plates on my Avidyne for less than $200 additional cost. What a deal!

After adding the coverage, I discovered that it was only 1 seat. My inquiry of Jeppesen revealed that IFD 100 is include, but not the trainer nor ForeFlight.

So far, I cannot download into IFD 100, so back to Jeppesen for a chat with support.

The timeline of my recollections fits with the timeline of member afassas’s post above that suggests the “version 1.0 / v2.0” transition at Jeppesen.

To be fair, getting the Jeppesen approach plate package from ForeFlight for $200 still ends up less than the $1100 of a couple years ago and ends up giving me more plates (full US instead of eastern US).

So, get your Jeppesen plates subscription for ForeFlight from ForeFlight and not from Jeppesen because it is a bit less.

If you are an instructor and member of NAFI, there is a significant discount for ForeFlight, but no discount on Jeppesen - even if you get the Jeppesen bundle through ForeFlight. Both companies are now under Boeing in case you didn’t know.
